Events

This year 2026, marks the 80th Anniversary of the formation of the Vintage Motorcycle Club.

The last meeting of 2025, which was a Social Evening on Tuesday 9th December, when we invited family and friends to join us, and proved a most successful event.

A repeat of this event (our 5th) is scheduled for Tuesday 8th December 2026

The next full Club Night meeting will be Tuesday 27th January 2026, at the clubhouse in Northwold. A small amount of club business, followed by our Guest Speaker

James Robinson Editor of The Classic Motor Cycle Magazine.

For our February meeting, Tuesday 24th, we welcome Norma Howell, from the Medical Detector Dogs. She will give a presentation on the workings of this Charity.

This meeting will be open to all members, friends and family who would be interested in learning about this subject.

March Club Night (31st) will be the return of George's Quiz Night. These have proved entertaining, and very popular over the years.

The first of our monthly Ride-a-Bike Nights start Wednesday 15th April. All are social runs, meeting-up from 6:30pm, at venues to be notified when confirmed.

(These are from April through to September. Members are encouraged to invite Guests/Riders to join us) (Unfortunately, April meet cancelled owing through lack of support)

Our 80th Anniversary Year Celebrations will include the Baton Relay Rally. It is hoped the Baton will be passed on through participating Sections as it travels around the UK

King's Lynn Section are scheduled to collect the Baton from the South Lincs. and Peterborough Section, on Wednesday 25th March (Details Club Secretary)

The following Wednesday, 1st April, the Baton will be delivered to the Anglian Section. Successfully handed over. (Steve Jackson "Shutter's and Speed" YouTube fame in attendance recording the event)

The first section run of the year will be the newly named 'Members Passed - Memorial Run', Sunday 19th April 2026. Details from Steve Jones starting from Watton Norfolk.

Followed by April Club Night (28th) Guest Speakers from Fenland Spirit Services. Coping with the effects of Ethanol, use and storage of synthetically Ethanol free fuels.

The last riding event is 'The Halloween Run' on Sunday 25th October 2026. Dick Fendick, our organiser this year, start from Fendick's Fishery, 10 for 10:30am

November Club Night (24th) we continue with our Bring and Buy Evening, revived last year, proving very successful and good fun. From 7:30pm, with 10% going to club funds.

To end the year, our December club night, on Tuesday 8th December, is a Social Evening when we invite family and friends.
