May be an image of textSad to report that dad Brian Robinson passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday night. Both James Robinson and I were with him.

He’d not been able to attend many events or club nights since his cancer diagnosis four or five years ago restricted his mobility, but he kept a keen eye on events via this page.
I’ll post funeral details once known.

Malcolm Rolph

Sad news indeed, a big loss to the Section, he will be missed greatly.

Sincere Condolences to James, Simon and Anne in their loss.

Simon Robinson

Dad, Brian Robinson’s funeral will be at 11:30 on Monday 8th June at Mintlyn crematorium in King’s Lynn, followed by a gathering to raise a glass/cup of tea to him at Fendick’s Fisheries at lunchtime after.

Entry forms are now available for the annual `Banbury Run', Sunday 7th June 2026

The Founders Relay Rally will not go ahead this year. In it's place, will be a Baton Relay Rally in celebration of the 80th Anniversary

of the formation of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club.

(We hope to see many of you on the road, during the year, in support, as our Founder would have wished).

Our annual Pre-31 Run will again include Girder Fork machines, with the same very successful format as previous years.

The date is confirmed as Sunday 11th October 2026. Starting from Fendick's Fishery / Hubble's Cafe' 10:00 for 10:30am

(Hubble's Cafe' will be open from 09:00am, for those desiring breakfast before setting off!) A run of approx. 60 miles in total,

with a lunch stop at The Cressingham Windmill Inn, Nr. Swaffham, Norfolk, and a return route to Hubble's Cafe, for Tea and Cake.

Worthy of a mention...

Our Congratulations go to member Carlos Vieira, winning the John Abraham Memorial Run

riding his 1925 AJS, taking part in the annual Anglian Section event. Well Done Carlos!

Well done John Walden, for entering his first Pioneer Run, albeit on a borrowed 1914 Premier machine. The run being organised

by the Sunbeam MCC, catering for machines manufactured before 1915. The Pioneer Plus Run caters for later machines, up to 1930.

John did finish, but not without running out of fuel (running on a very rich setting) with approximately four miles to go: trusting

machine owner Simon, was on hand to help out. John had remarked; " this was by far the most fun I've had on two wheels"

John and friends had a most enjoyable day, taking part in this annual event, with all arriving at the finish..

The date for this years 'Founders Day', at Stanford Hall, is confirmed as Sunday 19th July 2026

A great day out...with something for everyone!
