Intro

The VINTAGE MOTOR CYCLE CLUB. Founded in 1946 by the late C.E."Titch" Allen. OBE. BEM.

The King's Lynn Section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club formed in 1965

Our meeting place is the Clubhouse, Sports and Social Club, Hovell's Lane, Northwold, Nr. Thetford, Norfolk IP26 5LX

We meet at the clubhouse for our monthly meeting, every last Tuesday of the month, members arriving 7.00 for 8.00 pm start. Once the club business is completed, this could be followed by a Guest Speaker, Quiz Night, Film Show Night, or a specialist subject of interest. We also hold regular runs throughout the year, mostly for motorcycles over twenty-five years old being eligible, keeping within the club Rolling 25 year old Rule. Whether you already have a machine, and interested in riding or restoring, or just want to meet up with like minded people and find out more......why not come along and join us?

Recently, the VMCC announced the creation of a tailormade insurance scheme for members to insure their machines at attractive and competitive rates. Importantly, the cover includes Breakdown Recovery, Helmets and Leathers replacement and comes highly recommended. Attending your local section is a great way in making new friends, share knowledge and ride bikes with like minded individuals. Ride safely. Founders message

The Vintage Motor Cycle Club, whose members are united by their common appreciation of the engineering skill and vision of those who built the pioneer machines, has ensured that such machines are not preserved as lifeless exhibits in a museum, but are brought to life on frequent occasions in order that a new generation can marvel at the handiwork of the pioneers, and an older generation can once again view with nostalgia the machines they rode in days gone by. c VMCC Ltd.
